Dometic CTS 4110 – Built-in Cassette Toilet, 19L

The Dometic CTS 4110 is Dometic's built-in cassette toilet — one of the most popular toilet systems for New Zealand caravans. It is permanently fitted into the caravan with an exterior service hatch, so the removable cassette slides out from outside the van for emptying. No handling of the toilet inside the van, no odour risk, and a clean, residential-style toilet that lives permanently in your bathroom.

The CTS 4110 features a 19-litre cassette capacity — enough for a family of four for a typical overnight stay before emptying. The flushing system uses water from the van's water supply for a clean, quiet flush.

Is this the correct toilet for NZ self-containment certification?

A cassette toilet is one of the accepted toilet types for NZ self-containment certification. The CTS 4110 meets the requirements when installed correctly as part of a compliant system. Our workshop can assess and certify self-containment — contact us for more information.

How often does the cassette need emptying?

A 19L cassette lasts approximately 2–4 days for a couple, depending on usage. At most New Zealand holiday parks, cassette emptying points (CEPs) are available. The cassette is clean and odour-free to transport when emptied regularly.
