Camec Elite 2 – Single Axle Motor Mover, Manual Engagement

The Camec Elite 2 transforms caravan manoeuvring from a two-person wrestling match into a single-person, remote-controlled operation. Fitted to your caravan's chassis, the aluminium rollers engage with your tyres to drive the wheels in any direction — forward, back, and full 360° rotation on the spot — all from a handheld remote.

The Elite 2 uses manual roller engagement — a simple winding mechanism pushes the rollers against the tyres. A cross-actuation kit (included) lets you engage both rollers from either side of the van. Soft start and soft stop prevent jerky movements that could cause tip or coupling stress.

What is the difference between the Elite 2 and Elite Pro 2?

The Elite 2 has manual roller engagement — you wind the rollers against the tyres by hand before driving. The Elite Pro 2 has automatic engagement — the rollers engage and disengage automatically at the touch of the remote. The Pro 2 is more convenient but costs more. Both deliver the same driving performance.

Can I fit this myself?

Motor mover installation is a moderately involved job requiring fitting brackets to the chassis and wiring to the battery. Many owners do this themselves with mechanical ability; others prefer workshop installation. Our workshop can fit this for you — contact us for a quote.

Will a motor mover work on a sloped driveway?

Yes. The Elite 2 is rated to operate on gradients up to 18% — steeper than most residential driveways. For very steep or uneven ground, contact us and we can advise on suitability for your specific situation.
